My debut album “Back to Wild” is here and live on all platforms as of January 13th in conjunction with the new moon.

Hopefully, as you listen, the sounds will grow in your heart as the moon grows in the sky. I know it may sound corny but symbolism is powerful to me.

It is said that for plants that grow upward and provide fruits above ground it is best to plant during a new moon so that as the moon grows so do the plants. In contrast, plants that are more root based (like carrots or beets) are sown during the full moon so that as the moon wanes the plants grow down and put their energy into the roots.

The moon is an important symbol for me as I have stumbled upon the path of growing food for a living and tending to the land. I honestly think the world of farming and food provide us with incredible analogies for life.

The title “Back to Wild” refers to ‘re-wilding’ which is the idea of connecting with the natural world and our former “non-domesticated” selves. It is a frame of mind that feels valid and legitimate to me and this album is an audible manifestation of this idea as it has come to life in myself and as a result in my music.
